It was a great practice. Justin was teaching the band to work together by observing how each instrument plays and blending with each other. The fun part was when all the band members switched off and played each others instruments. I can see how important it is to know at least a little bit about every instrument, when you're in a band!
My pictures aren't good cuz they are with my phone but here's a few......

Practical Application of Obama's Redistribuion
(taken from an email forward)
Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read, "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on an "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference—just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need—the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient needed money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

Sidney's Haircut!
I had the opportunity to cut Sidney's hair. He had really nice long hair and now he has a totally new clean cut look. I'm really glad to do this for Him. I hope it's short enough. What do you think of his cut?

We're Back from Celebration!
We had a great time at Camp Kalaqua. I learned a lot and did a lot. I was really glad to get to know some people from church a little more. I am blessed to have spent time with the Hyers family and really enjoyed talking to Liz. I also had the opportunity to get to know Maureen and Kiki. The Hewitt family was another special family I got to spend time with.
We ate lunch at the Merwin's chalet on Friday and then ate some yummy burgers Sidney made on Saturday. Otherwise we ate lightly.
There was a session on every morning and every evening. The topic we learned at this retreat was on Freedom....Romans 6. The application I got out of it was to "exercise my will to not sin". There was much much more though.
Worship was great and the variety of teachers was interesting. Though I do love and appreciate my church SG Titusville even more now.
This is a picture of the type of lodge we stayed in with several other friends.
The girls and I had our own room and it was plenty big!
Hopefully I'll have more pictures to share soon. Check back for future posts.

I pray the Lord will fill us with even more passion for Him And be glorified. I will update on our trip after we're home for awhile and give ya'll a link to photobucket for pics.
We will be gone from the 16th till the 19th....WaHoo! (I don't think I spelled that right?)
Bye for now.

Everything MUST be measured by the word of God. This is an extreme case but the important truth to observe when going into a meeting is...."Does what is taking place point to The glory of God in the face of Christ?"(thank you God for allowing us behold your glory 2Corinthians 4:6)
